Deaf-Led AI Governance centers control over how AI systems are designed, trained, and deployed, ensuring that sign language and Deaf experience are treated as foundational inputs rather than post-production fixes. It addresses how data is sourced, how models interpret visual language, and how platforms determine visibility and interaction.
